  • You receive a series of upper and lower clear cosmetic aligners. Each brace will make minor adjustments to your teeths position, a process that is mapped out in advance by our orthodontic staff, specifically for your personal requirements. Every three weeks, you will begin wearing a new set of cosmetic braces, taking you to the next phase of your treatment plan.

  • YourSmileDirect clear cosmetic braces are a series of snug-fitting, individually customised plastic cosmetic braces that gradually maneuver your teeth into their ideal position.

  • You begin your journey with a free Suitability Assessment to establish if the treatment is suitable for you. Our clear aligner system is designed for minor to moderate teeth correction. This includes judging 1)space between teeth 2) crowding and 3) rotations of your teeth.

  • YourSmileDirect clear cosmetic braces are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic that will not irritate your cheeks or gums like traditional metal braces so often do. Start Now!

Patient Care

  • 22 hours a day. You should only be taking them out to eat, brush, or floss.

  • You will likely experience some discomfort for the first few days after wearing new cosmetic braces. This is normal for this type of treatment plan. This discomfort demonstrates that your cosmetic braces are working as they gently move your teeth to their final position. This soreness should gradually go away after the first few days of a new set.

  • The typical treatment length for YourSmileDirect invisible cosmetic braces is around 4 months. The typical YourSmileDirect member will receive a series of 5 cosmetic braces that need to be changed every 3 weeks. Some patients will receive slightly more or fewer cosmetic braces. This depends on the degree of teeth straightening required.

  • There are no visits to the orthodontist’s office during YourSmileDirect’s clear cosmetic braces treatment plan. From your first assessment, through to each step of straightening your new smile, YourSmileDirect straightens your teeth completely from home.

  • In order to protect your investment we strongly recommend protecting your investment in your brighter new smile with our custom-fit YourSmileDirect retainers. Without these retainers teeth will have a tendency to shift back to their original position over time. To combat this our custom-fit retainers will both ensure that your teeth remain in their corrected position and protect against any risk of night time teeth grinding. The cost for our retainer set is £195.00 and is available to purchase after treatment is completed.

  • If you lose one of your cosmetic braces don’t panic, you simply order a replacement for £95. Your replacement aligner will arrive within 7 days of placing the order. During that time we recommend that you wear the previous aligner to ensure that your teeth do not shift back into their original position. Costs

  • There are two payment options for a YourSmileDirect clear cosmetic braces treatment plan. The second is a single payment option of $1399. You will find that our clear cosmetic braces are less than half the price of other clear cosmetic brace systems. $99 for the Kit is separate to the total cost of $1399

  • We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and Paypal

Age Requirements

  • There is not a minimum age requirement of 15 to use YourSmileDirect clear cosmetic braces. However, we do require that the patient has all of their permanent teeth, including the 2nd molars. For patients under the age of 18, we will need a parent or guardian signature on the Medical/Dental History Form included with your Impression Kit.

Smile Clinic Dental Appointments

  • Cancellation or rescheduling of confirmed appointments require 48 hours notice. Failure to cancel or reschedule within this 48 hour notice period as well as arrivals to clinic exceeding 15 minutes of confirmed appointment time will result in you being charged the full appointment fee without exception.
